Key Responsibilities of the Pharmacy Revenue Integrity Manager
Oversee pharmacy revenue operations from charge capture through reimbursement
Monitor and analyze KPIs, audits, and compliance reports to identify risks, trends, and revenue leakage
Collaborate cross‑functionally with finance, operations, and pharmacy leadership to improve workflows and accuracy
Maintain and manage the Pharmacy Chargemaster (CDM) to ensure billing accuracy and regulatory compliance
Develop and deliver training programs for staff on documentation, coding, and compliance best practices
Prepare and present performance reports on revenue integrity, compliance, and financial outcomes to leadership
Support continuous improvement initiatives across pharmacy and revenue cycle operations
Qualifications Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field
5+ years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, with 2+ years in pharmacy revenue integrity or compliance
Strong understanding of pharmacy billing, coding, charge capture, and reimbursement workflows
Familiarity with Epic, Cerner, or similar revenue cycle systems
Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem‑solving skills
In‑depth knowledge of regulatory requirements (CMS, payer rules, HIPAA, etc.)
Preferred:
Master’s degree in a related field
Experience leading cross‑functional revenue integrity initiatives in a hospital or health system setting
