The Maintenance Technician performs general preventative maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, vehicles, equipment and grounds. Working under moderate supervision, this position assists in monitoring the building system operations and performance. This position will also utilize several trade skills such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, roofing, heating and cooling.

As the Maintenance Technician, you will:

Maintain all equipment as required per preventative maintenance programs prescribed by manufacturer’s specifications

Perform housekeeping functions and maintain the professional appearance of CFCU property, equipment, engineering spaces and common areas

Monitor and maintain drive up area including ATM machines, lighting, and other maintenance related items at office locations

Provide lawn, tree, shrub, and flowerbed care at the branches as seasonally required

Remove snow and ice from sidewalks and entranceways, utilizing shovels and snow throwers. Apply ice melt as needed to sidewalks and parking lots

Inspect building systems including fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and providing appropriate environmental conditions

Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of building and installed systems to include: plumbing systems, roofs, drains, shop, and HVAC

Perform assigned day-to-day repairs, emergency, and preventative maintenance; complete maintenance and repair records as required

Maintain the building lighting system, including element and ballast repairs or replacements

Perform, carpentry, furniture assembly and locksmith tasks as needed

Provide support and assistance with Fox Cities Marathon Including: equipment setup and teardown; organization and proper placement of supplies and equipment, including palletized supplies

Maintain tools and equipment such as lawn mowers, weed eaters, hand tools and company vehicles.

Respond quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as assigned or issued

Occasionally work irregular hours due to business needs (ie. Early and/or Saturday morning snow removal)

We are looking for a combination of:

High School Diploma or GED

Minimum of five years of related experience and/or trade school training

Valid Driver's License is required
