Travel Registered Nurse - Progressive Care

Schedule:

13 weeks| Day shift 7a-730p | Weekend, Holiday and call required

Key responsibilities:

Provides intermediate care to acutely ill patients in a progressive care unit

Continuously monitor patients' vital signs and other critical health metrics using advanced equipment to track progress and detect changes in status

May be required to assume duties as a charge nurse

Requires strong critical thinking, advanced technical skills, and effective communication to manage patients with complex needs who are recovering from conditions like heart failure or sepsis

Be able to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment

Must recognize safety issues to self and others and be able to assess and implement use of lifts or move patients in a safe manner

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years' current experience in critical care

Active RN License in NY

AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required, PALS preferred

Coronary care course or successful completion of challenge exam within orientation period

IV and IV Contrast certifications required

Must have completed at least 1 previous travel assignment

Pay Breakdown:

$1,224 per week (taxable)

$1,246 per diem (non-taxable)

Pay Details:

$2,470.00 per week
