They are seeking an experienced
Plumbing Project Manager
to lead commercial projects from preconstruction through closeout—ensuring quality, safety, and profitability every step of the way.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of plumbing construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination.
Oversee field operations to ensure project milestones are met safely and efficiently.
Collaborate closely with
general contractors, engineers, architects, and internal teams
to maintain alignment and client satisfaction.
Review drawings, specifications, and submittals to ensure compliance and quality.
Prepare and manage RFIs, change orders, and project documentation.
Assist with estimating, takeoffs, and preconstruction planning.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and performance.
Foster long-term client relationships through consistent communication and reliability.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience managing
commercial plumbing projects
within a mechanical contracting or subcontracting environment.
Strong knowledge of
plumbing systems, codes, and installation standards .
Proven success managing projects in
healthcare, education, or commercial construction .
Established relationships with general contractors
in the Houston construction market strongly preferred.
Proficiency with
Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, and Excel .
Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
OSHA 30 certification preferred.Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent field experience).
