Property Acquisition: Identify and evaluate potential real estate opportunities aligned with company strategy; negotiate purchase terms; coordinate due diligence; facilitate closing processes; collaborate with legal, finance, and executive teams to support investment approvals. Lease Management: Maintain and track all lease documents and expiration timelines; lead negotiations for lease renewals and amendments; proactively manage renewal timelines to avoid service disruptions or unanticipated rate increases; resolve leasing-related issues such as landlord disputes and maintenance coordination. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure all transactions adhere to internal approval processes and regulatory compliance; maintain accurate records for property files, leases, and legal correspondence. Reporting: Provide regular updates on property status, lease terms, and renewal schedules to leadership; prepare forecasts and reports for budgeting related to rent obligations and property investments. Supervisory details
No direct reports initially; may oversee external real estate consultants, brokers, or leasing agents as needed. Coordinate with internal stakeholders (legal, finance, operations) during property transactions; liaise with landlords, legal advisors, title companies, and municipal offices. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal property laws and company policies. Education, Certifications, and Licenses
Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Finance, or related field preferred. Valid and active real estate license required. Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) or similar credential is a plus. Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or corporate real estate, with demonstrated lease management and property acquisition success. Experience working with legal and finance teams to support real estate transactions. Proven negotiation and project management experience in a multi-stakeholder environment. Required skills and abilities
Strong knowledge of real estate markets, lease structures, and transaction procedures. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. High level of organization with attention to deadlines and detail. Ability to manage multiple projects with competing priorities, especially during peak lease renewal periods. Proficiency with lease management tools and systems (e.g., Excel, lease abstraction software). Ability to interpret legal documents and collaborate with attorneys on lease and acquisition terms.
