EHR SUPPORT ANALYST Open in-house through Thursday, October 30th, 2025. Location: Plummer, ID.

All positions are filled based on Tribal Preference. We conduct pre‑employment drug screening.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED (required).

5 years of Health IT experience desired (Federally Qualified Health Centers, FQHCs, and tribal centers preferred).

EPIC Support Analyst (ESA) certification preferred.

EPIC clinical and project management certifications preferred.

Experience with EHR software, specifically EPIC (preferred).

Strong understanding of health center operations and change management.

Excellent administrative, organizational and time‑management skills.

Willing to receive COVID‑19 vaccination per current hiring policies.

Ada Essential Functions

Vision adequate to read 12‑point type with or without corrective lenses.

Must verbally interact with staff, clients and the public.

Manual dexterity for writing and data entry.

Able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Can stand 80% of the day.

Can push or pull up to 60 lbs.

Can rescue assist up to 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

System Configuration & Maintenance: Configure, test and maintain Epic modules used across departments.

Manage templates, order sets, preference lists, smart forms and smart phrases.

Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and coordinate resolutions with OCHIN and/or Epic support.

User Support & Training: Serve as frontline support for staff regarding Epic workflows, functionality and documentation practices.

Train new users and departments on Epic workflows relevant to their roles.

Develop and update training materials tailored to the needs of tribal and community health settings.

Provide ongoing education on system updates or changes in workflows.

Workflow & Process Optimization: Collaborate with clinical, administrative and operational teams to analyze and improve workflows using Epic tools.

Standardize processes across departments to promote efficiency and data integrity.

Customize workflows to meet grant reporting, tribal health requirements and value‑based care initiatives.

Data Management & Reporting: Build and manage dashboards, reports and data extracts to support clinical quality, operations and compliance (e.g., UDS, GPRA, HEDIS).

Ensure documentation supports accurate billing, coding and reporting.

Validate data accuracy and integrity across Epic modules.

Project Management: Participate in EHR‑related project planning, go‑lives, upgrades and optimization initiatives.

Coordinate user acceptance testing and change management processes for new Epic features or enhancements.

Communicate system changes to stakeholders clearly and timely.

Security & Compliance: Maintain user roles, access levels and permissions in line with HIPAA and tribal policies.

Conduct audits and ensure system usage complies with FQHC, tribal and federal regulations.

Partner with compliance and IT teams to manage risk and ensure documentation standards are met.

Interdepartmental Collaboration: Act as liaison between clinical, IT, billing, behavioral health, dental, pharmacy and external Epic/OCHIN resources.

Support public health and community outreach programs by integrating data and documentation tools in Epic.
