Responsibilities
Participate in renewal strategy including discussion of markets to approach, claims reviews, and exposure gathering under the direction of the Producer or Account Executive.
Manage a renewal book of business, including creation of submissions, supporting the placement process, proposals, and binding.
Provide support in drafting exposure gathering information, loss exhibits, submissions and proposals.
Obtain loss run or policy documentation directly from a carrier website as needed.
Act as primary recipient of daily questions or changes from the client or forwarded by the Producer/AE.
Work with Associate Account Manager or 3rd‑party vendor to issue certificates, invoices, policy/endorsement/audit checking.
Submit and manage changes to the carrier per the client’s request.
Update the system of record to properly reflect conversations, communications and policy documentation.
Process monthly, quarterly or annual audits and monthly reports as received.
Handle contract reviews that are not complex in nature.
Manage claims, instructing the client to report notice of loss directly to the carrier or provide claims reporting and support for ongoing large claims.
Carrier & Wholesaler Relationships
Align RSC with partner carriers and intermediaries so that renewals are placed with ideal markets.
Implement the “Fewer & Stronger” market consolidation initiative, leveraging RSC buying power and ensuring the best terms and conditions for the client.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in a Property & Casualty brokerage environment.
Knowledge of Property & Casualty business.
Ability to follow process and procedural guidance.
Analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
Hold Insurance licenses as required by the Company.
