Summary The Order Fulfillment Lead is responsible for managing all SOP-based, order fulfillment processes and procedures in compliance with NJ state regulations to enable accurate packaging and fulfillment of orders for scheduled delivers and sale. This position reports to the Inventory and Order Fulfillment Manager. The successful candidate will possess a passion for accuracy and organization, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong attention to detail. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Leads the daily activities of Order Fulfillment team to deliver absolute accuracy and quality presentation for all approved sale orders Provides guidance and training to maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control measures Maintains a clean, safe environment in the companys fulfillment work area. Follows all company guidelines for biosecurity, cleanliness and workplace safety within the facility Leads the Order Fulfillment team to maintain pack, and pull efficiency, while meeting goals and shipment deadlines. Promptly identifies, investigates, documents, and corrects any discrepancies as they may arise and immediately report unsolved issues to the Inventory and Fulfillment Manager Partners with Inventory to maintain proper product identification and units available for sale within the electronic tracking system(s). Additional tasks as assigned by the Inventory and Fulfillment Manger or Senior Production Manager. Qualifications Education and Experience Must be 21 years of age or older High School diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years of experience in the cannabis industry and management experience. Minimum of 2 years of experience in inventory control, warehousing and /or data entry Proficient knowledge of cannabis products and standard packaging materials Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices Qualifications Effective management and communication skills Excellent time-management skills Ability to effectively plan and prioritize Strong ability to focus, with excellent attention to detail Trustworthy, reliable Ability to work independently and as part of a team to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices. COMPUTER AND TECHNOLOGY Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Proficiency with inventory systems and office equipment Proficiency with basic math skills required for inventory and measurements Strong proficiency with inventory and seed-to-sale systems Work Environment and Physical Demands The work environment characteristics and physical demands described here are representative of those an employee encounters, while performing the essential functions of this job. Manufacturing environment that requires extended time standing, walking, bending and reaching. Ability to carry up to 50lbs for up to a distance of 100ft. Occasional extended and repetitive use of arms, hands and fingers to cut and manipulate small objects. Ability to work in a humid and pollinated environment. On-site daily attendance is required.
