Clerk Of District Court
Performs record keeping and administrative support duties in the Office of the Clerk of District Court to ensure accurate and timely case management for the Court. Examples of Duties: Responsible for case management for District Court, which includes civil, domestic relations, paternity, criminal, probate, juvenile, youth in need of care, adoption and sanities; Serves as courtroom clerk, prepares Judge's calendar for trial and files for court, takes minutes of court proceedings, documents and keeps track of exhibits during court sessions, swear in witnesses, and other related courtroom duties as requested; Performs a variety of support processes, analyzes documents for accuracy and completeness to determine appropriate processing and routing within the office; Prepares and issues subpoenas and executions. Minimum Qualifications: Graduation from high school or GED; and One (1) years' experience in the performance of multifaceted office support or detailed secretarial duties; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training. Desired Qualifications: Occupational experience in a legal setting or additional training in secretarial and/or office management coursework desired.
