Salary: $20-21/hr

Department: Amusement Procurement and Promotions

Reports to: Amusement Procurement and Promotions Manager/ Director

Location: Brea, CA

Overview

The Representative for the Amusement Planning Department is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and

communicating with vendors to procure items for crane machines, redemption rooms, and promotional campaigns to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost efficiency. This role involves high communication and organization skills to manage and maintain business relationships, monitoring inventory, and supporting operational needs to keep consistent performance and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

Completes tasks within the deadline while reporting to the Manager/Director Understands & follows the Amusement Department's standard procedures and flow Has a clear understanding of the objectives and principles of the company's goals Ensures compliance with federal/state rules and company regulations Monitor and proactively secure prize items according to future inventory and sales trends to ensure the optimal amount of prizes are secured to fulfill each month's sales. Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to secure the best pricing and terms. Maintain clear communication to ensure agreed timelines, quality standards, and delivery requirements are met. Build and maintain strong relationships internally (within the department & with other departments) and externally (licensors, suppliers, vendors etc). Collaborate with the marketing, operations, and support teams to align promotional items with campaign objectives. Regularly review store inventory and sales to analyze needs based on machine count and budgets. Place and track orders to ensure optimal stock levels across all stores. Monitor current and future inventory trends and proactively suggest adjustments to avoid shortages or overstock. Confirms and supports the stores receiving delivery of machinery, equipment, and promotional items according to the plan and inspects their conditions Supports and manages the COGS controls with the operation departments Attend trade shows, conventions, and business trips to discover new products, trends, and suppliers. May require flexible work schedules during business trips (may start as early as 3:00 am or 4:00 am, depending on the flight schedule and task.) Business trip as needed (average once a month depending on the situation) Conduct market research to identify innovative products and cost-effective sourcing opportunities. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contractual agreements with suppliers. Ensure compliance with all contractual obligations and monitor execution of agreements. Work closely with the operations department to ensure uninterrupted machine functionality and availability of items. Act as a liaison to address operational challenges related to procurement and supply chain. Helps solve problems that affect the Amusement Departments' efficiency, services, and productivity Oversee payment schedules and ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices. Maintain detailed records of purchases, contracts, and communications with suppliers Follows Company guidelines for managing confidential information, customer satisfaction and supervising sales associates. Supports the achievement of employee safety and loss prevention objectives via all available media i.e. monthly meeting and one-on-one counseling. Ensures satisfactory maintenance, appearance, and condition of assigned areas of responsibility to comply with security, safety and environmental codes and ordinances. Enforces compliance with all local, state, federal regulations and company policy pertaining to safety, loss prevention. Qualifications:

4-year college business degree and 5 years management experience, preferably in the entertainment, retail or hospitality industries is preferred Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, percentages, taxation etc. to practical situations. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple suppliers and maintain quality standards under tight deadlines. Analytical mindset with attention to detail for budgeting, inventory, and vendor evaluation. Proficiency in inventory management software and MS Office. Team-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
