A leading provider of core components for global car manufacturers, VS Company is supporting the emerging trend of the vehicle industry.

This job requires technical experiences related to building cutting-edge products and development experiences. This position needs to be comfortable working with the manufacturing industry as well as high technology-driven products with the client and customers. This role is focused on developing a project and deeply involving technical requirements in the development as well as issue resolving. Customer & Tier companies communication and development management to ensure strength and innovation in the client automotive business. This role is directly influencing the integration project development across all client and automotive manufacturers and requires a confidant with identifying problems, communicating the concerns and driving for closure in order to deliver the best development quality within the time frame while building trust, demonstrating excellent feature implementation, and problem-solving skills. This role must play nice with others, have a humble service mindset, and be a results-driven self-motivator.

As the Development Engineer Contractor, you will:

Responsibilities:

Support to resolve technical issues Support to identify and manage all feature issues and publish a weekly report Resolve Software & Hardware issues and communicate with the customer to handle the issues Support Sr. engineers, such as R&D engineers, Validation engineers and their respective teams Communicate with client HQ cross-functional teams Analyze issues and supporting development are main priority as well as being the main contact point of customer communication Review with the Software/Hardware Sr. Engineer's for decisions related to analysis (Ex: Analysis result, FMEA, Impact of quality, etc.) Follow customer's acceptance process on top of the client internal development process Accumulate work experiences with knowledge contributing to increasing VS business across the car manufacturers as a long-term strategy Other duties as assigned Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field 0+ years or equivalent experience in automotive component development or testing or 3+ years or equivalent engineering experience with developing and/or testing an automotive component or 5+ years or equivalent experience delivering high-quality products or services to automotive companies Interest and prior experience in automotive telematics or mobile network Prior experience and/or knowledge of: Software development (CS design process including C, C++, QNX, Linux, Cinemo, XML, HMI, CAN network, embedded system) Hardware development skill (EE design process including schematic design, board layout, circuit analysis) Work across multiple disciplines (SiriusXM, Carplay, Android Auto, Bluetooth, WiFi, Audio sound control, RF, OTA, VIF, CPU&Micom, Network, Hardware, testing)

MS Office software applications Strong commitment to quality and attention to detail Desire to learn constantly and dive into new areas with unfamiliar technologies Passion for technology and problem solving Travel/Physical Requirements:

Up to 30% travel, including out-of-state and international travel as required Ability to: Sit/Drive and/or test in a vehicle for up to 8 hours a day, up to 4 hours at a time Lift/carry/setup up to 30lb samples, workstations, benches, box, and tools Interact with display/center controller/steering wheel while driving or while stationary testing

Preferred:

Prior experience with: Complex systems IATF 16949 certification APQP&FMEA certification Bilingual in both Korean & English
