Diversified Construction & Design is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician who works independently with minimal supervision and demonstrates strong initiative and accountability. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks across multiple facilities in El Dorado, Arkansas. This includes the operation and maintenance of building systems, equipment, and infrastructure to ensure the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of company-owned properties. The primary work location will be an eight-story historic building in downtown El Dorado.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on facility equipment and systems.

Possess a good working knowledge of electrical, HVAC, plumbing, chiller and boiler systems.

Operate and maintain boiler systems in compliance with applicable safety and operational standards.

Interpret and work from manuals and schematics to troubleshoot and repair systems.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime.

Coordinate with vendors, contractors, tenants, and internal staff to complete repairs and preventive maintenance.

Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment logs, and compliance documentation.

Assist with facility upgrades, renovations, and special projects.

Adhere to all company safety protocols, policies, and regulatory standards.

Skills and Qualifications:

Boiler License (; required within a defined timeframe after hire).

Strong knowledge of building maintenance systems and procedures.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and equipment manuals.

Safely lift and handle objects up to 50 pounds as part of regular job duties.

Additional Qualities Necessary:

Willingness to work afterhours and weekends, when required.

Willingness to follow safety guidelines at all times.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

Reliable, regular attendance is required.

Good physical condition and endurance.

Must possess a valid Drivers License.
