Join a compassionate team as an Addiction Therapist providing essential outpatient behavioral health services to a diverse client base in the Midwest region. This role involves conducting thorough diagnostic assessments and delivering individualized treatment through individual, family, group, and in-home therapy sessions. You will also perform utilization reviews and determine appropriate Levels of Care (LOC) based on clinical evaluations. Timely and accurate documentation of all services is a key responsibility. Crisis intervention and emotional support for clients and their families are integral parts of this position, along with referrals to suitable community resources.
Education:
A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy is required.
Experience:
Preferred candidates have three to five years of experience diagnosing and treating serious and persistent mental illness (SPMI), serious mental illness (SMI), or severe emotional disturbance (SED) populations. Experience integrating care with other providers and supervising clinicians pursuing licensure is highly valued. Working with diverse and high-risk populations is also preferred.
Requirements:
Must hold a BSRB Master's Level Clinician license and a Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) credential. Completion of all necessary trainings for specialized care, including qualifications as a Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP), is required. A valid driver's license is necessary. Additional licensure in Substance Use Disorder treatment and clinical level licensure by BSRB are preferred.
