Aircraft parts refurbishment company in Northeast Arkansas, in the Walnut Ridge-Paragould area, seeks a logistics specialist to work in the shipping and receiving area. Responsibilities include uncrating and crating parts, tracking them through production, and preparing them for return shipments. The role involves handling domestic and international shipments and coordinating with freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PLs, LTL shippers, and trucking companies. Responsibilities
Uncrate, crate, and prepare parts for shipment in domestic and international moves. Track parts through production and ensure accurate records of received items, in-production status, and finished parts returning to the warehouse for shipping. Prepare accurate import/export documents in compliance with international trade regulations. Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, 3PL providers, LTL shippers, and trucking companies. Handle shipments with high-value, oddly shaped, or fragile parts, ensuring proper packaging and shipping care. Qualifications
Strong familiarity with logistics for import and export in a shipping and receiving environment. Experience in record-keeping for parts received and tracking through production. Hands-on experience in uncrating and crating parts, including handling high-value, oddly shaped structures or parts. Knowledge of import and export documentation for international customers. Experience working with trucking companies, LTL shippers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers. Proficiency with computers and spreadsheets for tracking deliveries and shipments. Seniority level
