– Your support would be to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Engineering Directorate Modeling & Simulation (M&S) Office (DES) to assess the capabilities of the Missile Defense System (MDS) in a distributed Hardware-In-the-Loop (HWIL) simulation environment, including Continuous Developmental Integration (CDI) activities, MDS Ground Test (GT) events and MDS Flight Test support. Focus will be on supporting the development and deployment of M&S Frame work and MDA Element Capabilities What are your specific duties

Roles and Responsibilities: Act as a liaison between the Modeling & Simulation (M&S) software developers, integrators, data analysts, and test planners, conductors, and other stakeholders to include MDS element Points of Contact. Lead and provide strategic planning support for risk reduction and M&S development activities. Collect and consolidate M&S capability requirements needed by MDS stakeholders. Coordinate M&S Framework capabilities between System Integration and Engineering and Production functional areas. Identify M&S engineering criteria needed to burn down risk to the M&S Framework Duties include: Participate in MDA planning and coordination meetings . Review test plans to identify needs for new framework capabilities, test event schedules ability to support. Coordinate test resources (facilities, personnel, etc.) with simulation software developers for new capabilities and implementation strategies. Development schedules, and test plans. Maintain management awareness of planning activities and issues related to development. Participate in and present findings at working group meetings, peer reviews, and other technical interchange meetings. Desired qualifications include: A good understanding of overall MDS infrastructure and Element capabilities Experience leading integrated system test events Familiarity with real-time distributed simulation infrastructures; MDS Element configurations and operations; and DOD Operational Testing (OT) and Development Testing (DT) Travel: This position may have a 10-20% travel requirement. This position may require 10% night/weekend work. Education: Minimum of 8 -10 yrs. + (BS) in Math, Engineering, Computer Science or similar discipline OR equivalent years of experience Position requires that candidate possess a final and active security clearance About the company
