Burg Simpson Eldredge Hersh & Jardine, P.C. partners with iHire to share an opening for a Trial Attorney on its Medical Malpractice team in Denver, CO. The candidate will bring 3‑5 years of civil litigation experience in medical malpractice or personal injury, including motions, depositions, trial or arbitration, and will collaborate with senior attorneys and legal staff to develop case strategies.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain relationships with clients.

Counsel clients to understand legal options.

Conduct research and prepare legal documents, pleadings, briefs, and complex discovery.

Interview and depose parties and witnesses.

Strategize on case development, complex legal issues, and resolution options.

Requirements

Active license to practice law in Colorado.

Civil litigation experience, including familiarity with state and federal rules of civil procedure, evidence, and ethical rules.

Outstanding interpersonal, research, writing, analytical, and advocacy skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

This is a full‑time, permanent position offering a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, long‑term disability, short‑term disability, AD&D, term life, dependent care/medical FSA, medical HSA, and 401(k) retirement.

SALARY RANGE $105,000 – $120,000 per year. Salary is commensurate with experience.
