The Division of Humanities and Learning Communities is hiring Adjunct Faculty to teach courses in the Communication Department in both in‑person and hybrid formats. Duties include teaching COM 171 Public Speaking and Professional Communication, and providing instructional support across campus.
Teach COM 171 Public Speaking and Professional Communication.
Deliver classes in‑person and hybrid on Charlestown and Chelsea campuses, Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Master's degree or Ph.D. in Communication or related field.
Proven ability to work with diverse faculty, staff, and student populations.
Teaching experience at the college level, with community college experience preferred.
Ability to teach in‑person at BHCC’s Charlestown or Chelsea campuses.
Excellent organizational and teaching skills.
Effective communication skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of instructional technology.
Salary: $1,397.00 per credit hour.
Successful candidates will undergo Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) and Sex Offender Registry Information (SORI) background screenings in accordance with state regulations. The results of these screenings may impact the hiring decision.
