Location: Onsite - Olathe, KS 66061
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm
Pay rate: $19-$20.80/hr
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team and provide essential support within our accounting department. This role requires strong accuracy, basic financial knowledge, and the ability to handle a variety of administrative and accounting tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Compile, prepare, review, and audit various financial reports and records.
Process and manage invoicing activities, ensuring accuracy, timely submission, and proper documentation.
Enter and upload data into accounting systems using defined computer programs.
Process vendor payments worldwide, including issuing wire, ACH, and check payments.
Review and verify the accuracy of invoices, purchase orders, and other accounting documents.
Maintain compliance with records information management policies and best practices.
Provide excellent customer service to internal departments, suppliers, and customers.
Handle moderately complex clerical, administrative, and technical issues with general supervision, escalating when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Basic understanding of accounting and financial business practices.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing complex invoices.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficient in computer systems and standard accounting tools.
