Praetorian Power Protection, the leader in NETA testing and staff augmentation to the mission-critical industry, is searching for a Commissioning Manager to join our Reno-based team. In This Role, You Will Oversee pre-energization walks and manage third-party inspection support. Lead resolution of Cx software and technical issues, ensuring seamless project execution. Direct coordination of access for L3/L4/L5 testing, including escorts and badge access management. Manage technical documentation review across gating levels (L3 Startup, L4 72hr Lookahead, etc.). Supervise startup/shutdown activities and lead L4/L5 readiness walks with Cx Agent. Manage vendor and trade partner coordination for L3 startup and L4/L5 support. Approve and validate LOTO plans, ensuring compliance with site-specific COHE policies. Oversee review and implementation of Method of Procedures (MOPs) for Cx scope. Direct L3/L4 script reviews, providing strategic input and approvals. Lead pre-energization walks to ensure equipment readiness, coordinating with Mechanical & Electrical Superintendent teams. Manage Cx-related BIM issue identification and resolution processes. Drive collaboration with Building Management System (BMS) team to resolve L3/L4 BMS issues. Assign and oversee additional duties to achieve team and project objectives. To qualify for this role, you must have the following background: Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, is a plus 5+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, and building controls systems, with 2+ years in a leadership role. Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building system engineering principles. Proven experience in commissioning management (vendor, Cx agent, subcontractor, or GC Cx management). Expertise in LOTO/Control of Hazardous Energy Programs. Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record. Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex technical scopes. What's in it for you?
