The Force Development Training Analyst role supports the organization by leveraging Navy force development and training expertise to inform training priorities, readiness assessments, and program alignment with operational requirements. Overview
STAHL Companies provides program management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in government, including small businesses and new technology startups. We advocate for policies that improve government services and maintain our government’s competitive advantage by bringing more technology into government programs. Our team aligns the voice of small business members with advocacy for federal policy changes to make the government market more accessible and to support force modernization efforts. Responsibilities
Leverage Prior Navy Expeditionary Experience:
Apply operational knowledge and insights from a Navy Expeditionary Command and/or Navy staff to shape force development strategies, training priorities, and readiness assessments. Provide operational context and SME input to ensure training programs, capability gap analyses, and doctrinal reviews reflect real-world challenges and mission demands. Support Lessons Learned Integration:
Lead the collection, analysis, and integration of operational feedback through the Navy Lessons Learned Program (NLLP) to inform continuous improvement of TTPs and training curricula. Identify recurring themes from after-action reports to enhance force readiness and training alignment with emerging threats. Facilitate Knowledge Management & Decision Support:
Contribute to the Knowledge Management and Decision Support System (KM/DSS) to capture, organize, and disseminate critical training and operational information across NECC and component commands. Ensure knowledge repositories are accurate and current for planning and evaluation purposes. Contribute to Navy Training System Plans:
Assist in development, analysis, and validation of Navy Training System Plans (NTSPs) to align instructional programs with operational requirements, manpower needs, and equipment fielding timelines. Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure training systems are scalable, sustainable, and synchronized with force modernization initiatives. Support Capability Development Processes:
Provide analytical support and SME input in the Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) to ensure Navy Expeditionary training and force development programs align with joint capability requirements. Translate capability gaps and training shortfalls into actionable requirements, doctrine updates, and system improvements. Qualifications
Prior military experience at a Navy Expeditionary command and/or Navy staff. Subject matter expertise in one or more of the following areas: Navy Lesson Learned Program Knowledge Management and Decision Support System Navy Training System Plans Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System Must have a Secret Clearance. Position is contingent upon award. Work Location: U.S. Naval Station
