Social Media Manager - Laboratory Express Lead and execute Laboratory Express's social media strategy to build brand awareness, engage healthcare professionals, and promote our laboratory logistics services across digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning

Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategy aligned with business goals

Create monthly content calendars for all social media platforms

Identify target audiences including healthcare facilities, laboratories, medical practices, and industry partners

Set measurable KPIs and goals for engagement, reach, and lead

Stay current on healthcare industry trends and social media best practices

Research competitor social media activities and industry benchmarks

Content Creation & Management

Create engaging, original content (text, images, videos, graphics) for multiple platforms

Develop content themes around laboratory services, healthcare logistics, patient care, and industry news

Write compelling copy that reflects Laboratory Express's brand voice

Design graphics using Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar tools

Produce short‑form videos showcasing services, testimonials, and behind‑the‑scenes content

Ensure all content complies with healthcare regulations (HIPAA)

Schedule and publish posts using social media management tools (Hootsuite, Buffer, Sprout Social)

Platform Management

Manage daily activities on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter, and YouTube

Monitor and respond to comments, messages, and mentions promptly

Build and nurture online communities with healthcare professionals

Engage with followers and industry influencers authentically

Share relevant industry news, educational content, and company updates

Cross‑promote content across platforms appropriately

Analytics & Reporting

Track and analyze social media metrics (engagement rate, reach, impressions, conversions)

Use analytics tools (Facebook Insights, Google Analytics, LinkedIn Analytics)

Generate monthly performance reports with insights and recommendations

A/B test content strategies to optimize performance

Monitor social media ROI and demonstrate impact on business goals

Identify trends and patterns in audience behavior

Paid Social Advertising

Plan and execute paid social media campaigns (Facebook Ads, LinkedIn Ads)

Manage advertising budgets effectively

Target specific healthcare audiences with precision

Create ad copy and visuals for campaigns

Monitor campaign performance and optimize for better results

Report on ad spend and return on investment

Brand Management

Maintain consistent brand voice, tone, and visual across all platforms

Monitor online reputation and address negative feedback professionally

Collaborate with marketing team to ensure cohesive messaging

Respond to customer service inquiries via social media channels

Collaboration & Teamwork

Work with sales and marketing teams to support business objectives

Required Qualifications Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field

2-4 years of experience managing social media for B2B companies

Healthcare or medical industry experience strongly

Portfolio demonstrating successful social media campaigns

Technical Skills
