Discovery Isle Preschool is seeking an experienced, passionate, and driven Preschool Teacher to lead our

Toddler

classroom at our premier preschool in

Poway, CA . This is an incredible opportunity for an ambitious, experienced preschool teacher who thrives in a collaborative environment and is committed to delivering excellence in early childhood education.

What You’ll Do

Oversee daily classroom operations and ensure full compliance with state licensing regulations.

Design and implement thoughtful and intentional lessons that encourage student growth and development.

Build meaningful relationships with families and create a welcoming school culture.

Collaborate and work professionally with other teachers and staff.

What We’re Looking For

12 Core ECE Units in Early Childhood Education

OR

an awarded CDA in the assigned age group.

For infant and toddler substitute teachers: 3 Infant Toddler ECE Units completed

OR

an awarded CDA in Infant and Toddler.

A minimum of 6 months of teaching experience in a licensed preschool or early childhood center.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.

The ability to carry and lift 25 pounds or less, and occasionally 25–50 pounds.

$22.00 – $25.00 per hour | Based on education and experience
