Execute, monitor, and train inventory best practices and standard operating procedures for the entire store, including front end and pharmacy. Support pharmacy inventory management activities, including receiving, counting, ordering, and facilitating returns. Champion On-Shelf Availability and manage receiving, counting, pricing, returns, and all in-store inventory processes; validate and ensure accuracy of planograms. Review and coordinate the proper use of reports and system applications affecting front end and pharmacy on-hand balances and pricing. Execute and maintain front end and pharmacy asset protection techniques; file claims for warehouse and vendor overages, shortages, order errors, or damaged goods including prescription drugs. In designated stores, open and close the store in the absence of store management, including system start-ups, cash handling, cashier responsibilities, and ensuring the floor and stock room are ready for the business day. Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance; when serving as the leader on duty, resolve customer issues to ensure a positive experience. Model and share customer service best practices to deliver a distinctive customer experience. Execute and coach team members on warehouse and vendor inventory management processes, including creating, reviewing, and receiving orders. Scan deliveries in-store, manage One Box receiving, and address undelivered orders; contact vendors and open tickets as needed to correct inaccuracies. Verify pharmacy shipments and postings for products physically received; complete postings for pharmacy warehouse orders and recalls as directed by the pharmacist-in-charge. Complete On-Shelf Availability end-to-end processes for planogrammed departments, including disposals, call-ins, and vendor returns before expiration. Assist with pharmacy inventory activities, including recalls, vendor returns, non-controlled and damaged salvage returns; verify posting of all pharmacy/prescription claims. Execute pricing activities including price changes, markdowns, and pricing tasks; ensure accurate signage and regulatory pricing requirements. Support front end and pharmacy ordering, monitor manual orders to identify excesses, and maintain inventory as required. Ensure designated pull and quarantine items on-hands are updated and stored appropriately. Maintain accurate inventory counts across departments, stockroom, and overstock locations; support pharmacy counts and smart counts. Ensure compliance with state and local laws for regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco). Assist in maintaining inventory records and organizing invoices, receipts, and return authorizations; prepare for physical inventory and support inventory day activities. Support clean and well-merchandised counters and shelves; stay knowledgeable of store systems and equipment. Assist and coach the team on package delivery activities, including scanning, returns, and the Walgreens Pickup Program. When designated as leader on duty, register all related sales on the POS system, manage scanning errors, price verifications, voids, returns, and cash handling as needed. Comply with company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers; perform additional tasks as assigned. Qualifications

Six months of prior Walgreens experience (internal) or one year of prior retail work experience (external). Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Demonstrated attention to detail and ability to multitask and execute. Experience in identifying operational issues and implementing solutions. Preferred: prior experience as a shift lead, pharmacy technician, designated hitter, or customer service associate; prior Walgreens experience preferred with an evaluation on file. Attend company trainings and complete all required e-learning modules, including safety training. Obtain and maintain a valid pharmacy license/certification as required by the state. Communications

Serve as a liaison between management and non-management team members; coach and develop inventory system capabilities; communicate tasks and report issues to management. Benefits
