CNC Programmer

As a CNC Programmer, you will collaborate with a skilled team of Industrial Designers, Engineers, Machinists, and Product Fabricators. Your role will focus on delivering exceptional designs, prototypes, and products across diverse industries including medical, aerospace, industrial, and consumer markets. This position arises from the need to reduce lead times, with responsibilities encompassing light programming, setting up 5-axis mills, and assisting in programming new prototype parts. Responsibilities

Demonstrate problem-solving skills. Operate and program 3, 4, and 5 axis CNC milling and CNC turning machines, with preference for Haas and DMG Mori/Siemens Control. Engage in CAM programming, setup/fixture design, and part runs, with MasterCAM as a preferred tool. Manage projects, scheduling, inspection, quality control, and related documentation. Continuously learn and improve, striving to create precision parts and assemblies while solving complex problems. Order necessary tooling and materials to complete jobs. Communicate improvements and optimizations to the engineering department. Essential Skills

Proficiency in CNC programming and operation. Experience with MasterCAM, SolidWorks, and GD&T. 5 years minimum experience in machine programming and setup. Ability to create fixtures, set up machines, and engage in mill programming. Strong communication skills and ability to work under deadlines. Additional Skills & Qualifications
