Job Description The

Procurement Manager

is the day-to-day operations leader of the Procurement team, primarily managing the Direct Spend category portfolio of products and suppliers. The

Procurement Manager

ensures a continuous supply of over 33,000 SKUs across 8 Direct Spend Product sub-categories, supported by approximately 30 key strategic suppliers. They manage a team of Procurement Agents to meet core KPIs and oversee the operational structure of the Procurement department to ensure efficiency and goal achievement. The

collaborates with cross-functional teams including Corporate Finance, AP, HR, Legal, IT, Engineering, Marketing, and Product Development. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Manage daily procurement workflows to ensure continuous supply of SKUs, including purchase order reviews, approvals, and replenishment planning. Oversee departmental operations to meet KPIs related to stock levels, pricing, cost reductions, vendor management, and quality. Assign and delegate workloads to team members, fostering development and goal achievement. Manage strategic vendor relationships to support procurement activities. Travel periodically to vendor facilities for capacity assessment, risk mitigation, and process improvements. Coordinate cross-functional actions with various departments. Prepare and present weekly KPI briefings to senior management. Plan and allocate team resources to optimize organizational effectiveness. Drive continuous improvement of departmental KPIs to enhance efficiency and risk management. Supervisory Responsibilities:

Lead a team of approximately 5 Procurement Agents and an Expeditor. Education/Experience Required:

Post-secondary diploma or equivalent experience in materials management or business. At least 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in industrial engineering and manufacturing. Expertise in procurement concepts, practices, and techniques. Proficiency in logistics, import, and customs procedures. Computer Skills:

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite. Experience with SAP and other ERP systems is a plus. Physical Demands:

Primarily an office-based role with minimal physical requirements. Work Environment:

Standard office environment with occasional visits to the warehouse. Travel approximately 5-10%, including domestic and international supplier visits. The salary range for this role is estimated between $110,000 and $130,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
