Qualifications
The Technical Documentation Specialist should have a Degree in Computer Science, English, Technical Writing, or a related field. Requirements include: A minimum of 3 years of related experience. Experience authoring technical publications for highly technical and complex products. Experience working with complex network products, video delivery products, and/or software for technical audiences is preferred. Proficiency with Structured FrameMaker (DITA). Experience with other tools such as Acrobat Professional, Adobe Creative Suite, Word, Excel, SVN, JIRA. Experience collaborating within a content management system. Experience working on dispersed, multi-cultural teams is helpful. Experience in an agile development environment is a plus. The role involves writing user and technical documentation for process automation products, including user guides, online help, Release Notes, and Product Specifications. The candidate will work independently on projects, interacting with developers, testers, project managers, support staff, and SMEs. Responsibilities include conducting interviews with technical experts, translating technical information for diverse audiences, and publishing documentation in various formats.
