Education
Required: Registered nurse diploma
Preferred: Associate or bachelor's degree in nursing
Work Experience
Required: None
Certifications
Required: Current RN license in the state of practice
Required: BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred: Certification in clinical specialty area
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficiency in computers and software applications
Effective communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Good organizational and time management skills
Good judgment
Job Duties
Utilize the nursing process for patient care
Assess learning needs and implement teaching strategies
Communicate and delegate effectively within the team
Use data to evaluate and improve outcomes
Enhance customer satisfaction and morale
Respect patient privacy and adapt communication accordingly
Perform other duties as required
