This position will report to the Head of Raw Materials, NA, and will be based in Highland Heights, KY. This position will be responsible for managing all Compound Ingredients and Specialty Compound commodity spend activities, local and sector monthly management reporting, material trend analysis, continuous improvement process (CIP) projects analysis, and supply base negotiations. This is a highly visible position within the organization globally. The travel expectation for this role is 25%. Responsibilities

Develops, implements, and maintains a commodity strategy that supports the company's global accessory strategy while providing market advantages. Ensure year-to-year, bottom-line material and product cost improvements for assigned commodity/spend category. Lead cross-functional efforts to reduce costs, standardize raw materials, and adapt new supplier technologies. Responsible for developing, implementing, and enforcing supplier performance metrics utilizing Lean and Six Sigma methodologies. Maintain, evaluate, and analyze market trends, report key material trends. Lead key vendor/supplier negotiations in conjunction with global commodity leaders. Assist with the annual budget in forecasting material(s) cost. Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or supply chain management is required. Bachelor's degree in mechanical or chemical engineering preferred. Minimum of 1-3 years experience in Supply Chain Management. Experience in the manufacturing industry is a must. Ability to travel 25% is a must. Professional certification (such as C.P.M., CPSM, CPIM) a plus. Ability to work independently or in a team. Energetic, motivated, and possess strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills. Excellent problem-solving and category management skills. A wide degree of creativity is expected. Strong commodity management/leadership skills. Strong negotiation skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong sense of urgency. Strong computer skills with emphasis in SAP, Excel, and Office tools.
