Legal Intake Specialist

We are looking for a detail-oriented Legal Intake Specialist to join our team on a contract to hire basis in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. In this role, you will manage client intake processes, handle inbound communication, and assist with legal documentation to support our employment law practice. This position requires bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, along with excellent organizational and communication skills. Responsibilities: Conduct client intake interviews, ensuring all necessary information is accurately gathered. Respond to inbound telephone calls professionally and address client inquiries effectively. Prepare and manage legal correspondence, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail. Screen potential clients to determine eligibility and suitability for legal services. Collaborate with attorneys and other staff to prioritize and organize case files. Ensure compliance with legal standards during intake procedures. Provide exceptional phone etiquette and customer service to clients. Maintain organized records of all client interactions and intake processes. Assist with administrative tasks related to employment law cases, including document preparation. Requirements: Minimum of two years of experience in a legal assistant or intake role. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is preferred. Strong knowledge of employment law practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to handle high volumes of inbound calls professionally. Proficiency in managing client intake processes.
