Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 9 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position in a vascular interventional setting, requiring an active IL RN license and strong procedural skills. Responsibilities Position is in a vascular interventional radiology department within a hospital Works with adult patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures Procedures include peripheral vascular interventions, central line placements, tube changes, embolizations (arterial/venous), venous thrombectomy, and neuro interventions if qualified Utilizes EPIC for all charting and documentation Day shifts, Monday through Friday, working four 9-hour shifts per week from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM No local candidates accepted; position requires living at least 50 miles from the facility Responsible for providing direct 1:1 patient care during a variety of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures Participates as a member of a multidisciplinary team of RNs and Radiology Technologists, typically comprising 3-4 staff members Must administer medications, monitor hemodynamics, and maintain accurate procedural documentation Expected to adapt to changes in procedures and respond effectively to emergent situations RTO (time off) not to exceed 7 days per 13-week contract Assignments may last up to one year, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning First-time travelers are welcome to apply No travel partners accepted for this position Requirements Active IL RN license (may be temporary) in good standing Minimum of three years relevant nursing experience in a procedural or interventional setting Associate degree in nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS from the American Heart Association Prior experience with EPIC charting and Level 1 trauma preferred Experience with moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and identifying life-threatening arrhythmias Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-560501.
