SAIC is seeking an experienced Personnel Security Officer to support our customer\'s Office of Security. This position will be responsible for Continuous Evaluation/Continuous Vetting Case Control. This position is located in Springfield VA. This contract is able to quickly adjudicate a polygraph for those with an active TS/SCI. An active TS/SCI is required to be considered for this role. Responsibilities
Manage, triage, and assign cases from PeopleSoft Electronic Reporting (eReport), polygraph referrals, emails, internal/external referrals, DNI CE alerts, EAFR, RapBack, and walk-in notification. Validate, research, review, create reportables, create cases, and forward to personnel security specialist-Investigators, all reportable information from employees and contractors meeting timelines established by the government. Track and Report Electronic Alerts (eAlerts) in metric format per established format. Provide support to the established CE/CV PERSEC Program. Provide service excellence in guidance and resolution to internal and external customers\' questions and inquiries in a timely manner for support to their programs. Utilize a variety of security concepts, principles and practices to analyze and recommend solutions for difficult and complex security issues. Document and provide Weekly Activity Report (WAR) actions in the customer designated template and timeline to the Government Team Lead. Assist the government team to help in developing recommendations for improvement. Prepare, write, and present reports/whitepapers, various forms of correspondence, as required. Provide positive, well-communicated responses and closure of all customer inquiries. Document, file, and maintain all actions in the personnel security systems of record (PeopleSoft or its successor). Direct all incoming documentation to the appropriate person or database within three business days of receipt. Deliver priority messages based on urgency. Capture details of all actions within the appropriate PeopleSoft security modules. Qualifications
Active TS/SCI is required Ability to obtain a polygraph is required Bachelor\'s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field Minimum 7-10 years\' experience Clear and concise writing skills Positive, engaging communication skills Excellent organizational skills to achieve required timelines General understanding/application of the Personnel Security discipline Efficient in office software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Access, Adobe, etc.)
