Overview
Team Leader position at H&R Block. You will provide leadership to a customer-centric team of associates and accelerate seasonal tax business by managing a single H&R Block tax office. You’ll lead the front-line management and development of tax office associates, delivering an outstanding client experience and achieving office growth objectives. Responsibilities
Partner with the District General Manager to create and implement office-level growth plans, including developing local partnerships and managing office community involvement Assist the District General Manager in recruiting and interviewing candidates for tax office positions Serve as the point of contact for onsite escalated client service concerns Ensure clients are scheduled properly and conflicts are resolved Lead daily activities to ensure tax office work is completed by deadlines with quality and alignment to priorities and goals Train and coach associates to execute Service Standards and recognize outstanding contributions Lead daily team meetings and communicate essential information to tax office associates Create associate work schedules and ensure accurate timekeeping and overtime management Prepare tax returns, as required Conduct timely performance reviews and partner with the Associate Relations Center to address performance concerns Your Expertise
Prior experience in customer service, shift lead, or similar role Experience supervising or managing people Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course (if preparing tax returns) Annual completion of continuing education and ability to meet IRS and applicable state requirements Computer proficiency with MS Office Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Customer-centric mindset, with resilience and determination Flexibility in work schedule and assignments based on business needs High school diploma or equivalent or higher Qualifications and Benefits

The posted pay range is $15.00 - $65.00 per hour. Local minimum wage laws apply. Individual pay decisions depend on job-related factors such as experience, education, skill, performance, and location.
