CNC Swiss Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Swiss Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining Swiss-style CNC machines to produce high-precision components for industries such as medical devices, aerospace, and electronics. Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate multi-axis CNC Swiss lathes (e.g., Citizen, Tsugami, Star) Read and interpret complex blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions Select, install, and adjust tooling and fixtures for optimal machining performance Perform machine offsets, tool changes, and troubleshooting Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges) Maintain accurate production records and documentation Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to resolve issues and improve processes Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 35 years of experience operating and setting up CNC Swiss machines Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and fixture design Familiarity with GD&T and tight tolerance machining Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Physical stamina and comfort with technical problem-solving Job Type & Location: This is a permanent position based out of Clifton, NJ. Pay and Benefits: The pay range for this position is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00/yr. Full benefits - health, dental, vision, 401k program, vacation, sick, holiday, PTO.
