We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector II who will be responsible for the inspection of materials and end item parts through all stages from receipt through shipping, this includes the calibration of tools and equipment and keeping appropriate records. This role will ensure the maintenance of required specifications and paperwork as required by AIAP is also a responsibility of Quality Assurance. The Quality Inspector II will be in a warehouse environment for an aircraft hardware distribution facility. Routine work in the warehouse is performed. Desk work with computer activity is also required.

What You'll Do (Responsibilities) Work with suppliers on rejected material and return the product if needed Perform inspection on products received from vendors, specifically aerospace fasteners Use gadgets such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products Perform inspections at random to assess product quality Accept or reject finished products and discuss inspection results with the production team Remove products that don't meet production standards and recommend strategies to improve product quality Hold a high standard of quality for all products received, contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed Recommend any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes Ensure company compliance with customer requirements Ensure that part numbers are correct and accurate before adding them to the system What You Bring (Qualifications & Skills):

College degree or equivalent experience, required Must have 3-7 years experience in the aerospace industry Must have extensive knowledge of calibration/inspection equipment (calipers, micrometer, ring gages, plug gages, and radius gages) Must be able to read blueprints, diagrams, multitask and have some Computer skills Must be computer savvy and learn company proprietary software programs Utilize Microsoft programs such as Outlook, Excel, and Word Have a good working knowledge of aircraft fasteners Quality orientation and high attention to detail Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Experience working with high-performance teams Special Requirements:

U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder) or

asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) required. ITAR requirement 120.15. Some positions will require current U.S. Citizenship due to contract requirements.
