Job Description
In this newly created position you will report to the VP of Asset Management for the vertical and will act as a mentor for Analysts on the team. Responsibilities include:
Develop and implement asset management strategies to maximize property performance and value. Analyze financial data and create reports to monitor portfolio performance and identify growth opportunities. Collaborate with JV partners, lenders, brokers, and property managers. Lead or support refinancing and disposition efforts. Collaborate with third party property managers to enhance operational efficiencies and tenant satisfaction. Lead lease negotiations and oversee tenant relationships to ensure retention and profitability. Prepare and present comprehensive reports to stakeholders on portfolio status and key metrics. Conduct market research to identify trends and make informed investment decisions. Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the property portfolio. Ensure compliance with all local regulations and company policies in property operations. The Successful Applicant
A successful Asset Manager / Sr Associate should have:
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or related field. 5+ years of experience in real estate or private equity. Strong financial modeling and Excel skills. Expertise in residential assets - multifamily, BTR, campus, etc. Familiarity with JV, loan, and property management agreements. Experience with acquisitions, financings, and dispositions preferred. Willingness to travel (~25%). What's on Offer
