A role in Guest Services is a great way to get started with LHR. In this role you'll be working face to face with our guests to establish a positive rapport and provide excellent guest services from the first greeting through check-out. It is essential that we make guests feel welcome, that their needs are met and that any questions/problems are resolved efficiently and appropriately.
This position is vital to our operations and serves as the foundation for providing the best hospitality LHR can offer at each of it's locations.
Position Summary
The Guest Services Representative creates a welcoming and memorable experience for all guests at Peppertree Ocean Club. This role handles front desk operations during the evening shift, ensuring smooth check-in/check-out processes, exceptional customer service, and accurate recordkeeping. On designated nights, this position will also perform
Night Audit
duties, balancing the day's accounts and preparing financial reports for management.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Services:
Greet guests warmly and manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently. Respond promptly to guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and courtesy. Provide resort and local area information, directions, and recommendations. Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction. Handle room charge transactions accurately. Maintain lobby and front desk areas in a clean and organized condition. Night Audit (as assigned):
Balance all daily transactions and verify posting accuracy across guest folios and revenue centers. Prepare and distribute daily audit reports to management. Monitor and secure the property during overnight hours. Address guest needs and emergencies while maintaining safety and security standards. Team and Operations Support:
Communicate effectively with all departments to ensure seamless guest service. Assist in training and supporting new team members. Follow resort policies, procedures, and brand standards consistently. Qualifications
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; hospitality or accounting coursework preferred. Prior front desk or customer service experience preferred; night audit experience a plus. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with computers and hotel property management systems. Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional overnight shifts. Professional, friendly demeanor and a commitment to delivering outstanding guest service. Physical Requirements Stand for extended periods; occasional light lifting (up to 25 lbs). Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
