Job Title: CNC Mill Machinist / 2nd shift
Pay : $28.00 - $34.00/hour (DOE)
Schedule : 2nd Shift
Location : Long Beach, CA
Employment Type : Direct Hire
What You'll Be Doing:
Interpret blueprints and work orders to plan machining processes. Set up and operate CNC milling machines with minimal supervision. Use geometric dimensions and tolerances (GD&T) to ensure precision machining. Load/unload materials using cranes; ensure smooth machine operations. Monitor machining progress and isolate non-conforming parts for inspection. Perform preventative maintenance checks: Way Lube, Hydraulic Fluids, Coolant, etc. Record labor, time logs, and complete first article inspections (FAI) and SPC documentation. Identify and implement process improvements in real-time. Ensure quality output from start to finish while following safety protocols. What You Bring:
2+ years of CNC mill operation experience in a manufacturing environment (aerospace/defense preferred). Strong ability to read technical drawings and work from engineering plans. Experience with Predator software (preferred). Machining Certificate (preferred but not required). Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with setup and tooling. Team-oriented attitude with solid communication and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools is a plus. Benefits:
