Senior Java Developer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Jersey City, NJ.

This role involves leading backend architecture design and mentoring junior developers to ensure code quality and scalability.

Rate Range:

$47/hour to $49/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Senior Java Developer job responsibilities include:

Design and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Java, Spring Boot, and related technologies. Lead code reviews and enforce best practices to ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, QA, and DevOps to deliver robust software solutions. Mentor junior developers by providing technical guidance and fostering a culture of continuous learning. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the development lifecycle. Contribute to architectural decisions and help define long-term technology strategies. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development. Proven expertise in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture. Pay Details:

$47.00 to $49.00 per hour
