My client is a private St. Louis-based real estate investment manager and developer. They are focused primarily on developing industrial real estate in high-growth Southeast and Midwest US markets in partnerships with institutional investors. The engage in real estate acquisitions , dispositions, leasing, development, construction management, property management, finance, captial markets, and accounting.

Job Description

Support the predevelopment process, including site due diligence, entitlement procurement and project design. Support selection of general contractor and negotiation of AIA contract documentation Support establishment of project and construction budget, and GMP Establish and manage project schedule Identify value engineering opportunities Closely monitor, oversee and solve problems during the construction process, managing the project to the approved project budget and schedule and communicating frequent updates internally Manage change orders and draw requests during the construction process Support design and permitting, bidding and build-out of tenant improvement projects Support deal team with construction-related guidance during pursuit of new opportunities Lead project close-out, including customary close-out documentation and punch-list management MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant

6-10+ years of Project Management experience with a commercial general contractor Experience with Industrial projects is strongly preferred Candidates MUST be local to St. Louis Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to handle multiple tasks while working in a collaborative environment Strong communication skills, both written and verbal Understanding of Procore and Bluebeam is beneficial What's on Offer
