Our client is looking for a highly skilled Senior Strategic Sourcing Manager to drive sourcing initiatives across software infrastructure. This pivotal role is essential for optimizing supplier relationships, enhancing cost efficiencies, and managing the execution of complex contracts. Cincinnati, OH , and relocation support is available. Key Responsibilities Category Management : Collaborate with senior leadership to shape and refine category strategies and sourcing pipelines. Conduct financial reviews to evaluate category performance and discover opportunities to enhance cash flow and gross margin. Implement supplier finance and discount programs to optimize working capital. Strategic Sourcing Lead sourcing efforts and guide analyst teams to achieve category objectives. Develop and maintain comprehensive sourcing strategy documentation. Ensure alignment with internal policies and promote compliance in sourcing processes. Contract Management Negotiate and execute intricate, high-visibility supplier contracts. Identify and mitigate risks, while formulating actionable improvement plans. Supplier Relationship Management Drive Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) initiatives to build long-lasting partnerships and foster continuous improvement. Oversee supplier qualification and manage transition planning for new agreements. Procurement Process Optimization Establish strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement is integral to strategic decision-making. Track procurement metrics and generate actionable insights to enhance performance. Talent Leadership Supervise and mentor direct reports, offering performance feedback and development opportunities. Cultivate a collaborative and high-performing team culture. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in technology sourcing, focusing on infrastructure (hardware/software). Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio). Exceptional communication and negotiation skills. Preferred Qualifications MBA or Master’s degree. Professional certifications such as CPM, CPSM, or CSCP. 5+ years in procurement or supply chain roles. 3+ years of experience leading sourcing teams.
