AI Signal Research, Inc. (ASRI) is recruiting for the Test Engineering and Analysis Services contract in the Las Cruces and White Sands Missile Range, NM area. Education: Bachelors Degree Months/Years of Experience: Five (5) years in related field. Required Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Must have or be able to obtain a DoD security clearance. Must develop and maintain technical expertise and knowledge of the test program(s) required for WAO accomplishment. Must be able to measure results. Desired Qualifications: Experience with DoD Weapon and Communication Systems. Familiarity with applicable documents, including MIL-STD-882E (System Safety), MIL-STD-961E, MIL-STD-385-10 (Army Safety Program), and ITOP 1-1-057 (Safety Critical Software Analysis and Testing). Skills Needed: Test engineering and analysis services. Expertise in analysis of software requirements, software design, hazard tracking system data, and software test plans and results. Ability to coordinate with personnel within the System and Software Branch as well as organizations outside the branch. Ability to prepare various Technical Reports (Implementation Plan, Data Analysis Report, Trip Reports, Methodology Report). Duties: This position provides test engineering and analysis services to support software independent verification and validation (IVandV) and software safety test analysis for systems including the MLRS M270A1 Launcher, HIMARS Launcher, GMLRS, TACMS, and Other DoD Weapon and Communication systems. The work involves assessing software requirements and assigning a risk level as part of the safely assessment, indicating a role in high-stakes system safety. Duties include Analysis of Software specifications, documentation, and requirements (Functional Flow and Traceability), Software Design, and Development and Developer Tests to assess adequacy and consistency. Perform Software Test Monitoring, Analysis, and Reporting. Support Functional and Physical Configuration Audits. Attendance and participation in meetings, such as Integrated Product Team, Safety Working Groups, and design reviews (PDR, CDR). Perform TDY as necessary to support WAO requirements. Submit Software Trouble Reports (STRs) within 5 working days of problem determination. The role requires coordination with personnel within and outside the System and Software Branch and development of technical expertise. Activities often involve test analysis, monitoring test execution, and preparing various technical reports (such as Data Analysis Reports or STRs for anomalies). Comments: Compliance with health mandates as dictated by the contract may be required as a condition of employment. This position is contingent upon funding.
