Job Title/Position: Grants and CRM Manager Reports to: Director of Development Schedule: Monday - Friday (occasional off-hours and weekend events) Pay Rate: $55,000-$60,000 annually JOB SUMMARY

Under the direction of the Director of Development, the Grants and CRM Manager plays a critical role in supporting the organization's development and fundraising efforts by managing the full lifecycle of grants and overseeing our CRM system, ALTRU. This position ensures accurate data management, timely grant reporting, and strategic use of donor information to enhance fundraising outcomes.

The Grants and CRM Manager is an active member of the Development Team and assists with developing and executing fundraising plans, maintaining and securing new relationships with family and community foundations, and advancing organizational initiatives-including educational programs, experiences, community efforts, or events-through prospect research and identifying potential partners and funders. They will be asked to think both strategically about the larger efforts of the department, along with performing highly detailed and creative work daily.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Grants Management

Manage the full grant cycle: proposal development, submission, reporting, and compliance. Collaborate with program staff to gather data and narratives for grant applications and reports. Research, identify, and evaluate potential grant opportunities aligned with organizational priorities. Maintain a calendar of grant deadlines and ensure timely submissions and reporting, approximately 75-100/year ranging in request size from $1,000 to $500,000. Track grant revenue and expenditures in coordination with the finance team. CRM Management

Serve as the Development department's leadof theCRM system, ALTRU. Ensure data integrity, consistency, and security across donor records. Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data exports to support fundraising and donor engagement Entering gifts and drafting acknowledgement letters in database. Assist Development department as needed on CRM usage and best practices. Collaborate with development and communications teams to segment donor lists and support targeted outreach. Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with the Director of Development and other team members to align grant and CRM strategies with fundraising goals. Support donor stewardship efforts through data-driven insights and tracking. Assist in the preparation of board and funder reports using CRM and grant data. Actively participate in the creation and support the implementation of Discovery World's fundraising plan, that incorporates a range of strategies including annual giving and appeals, corporate giving and partnerships, event sponsorships, grants, major giving, and planned giving. Active participation with annual signature events leading up to, and day of, such as the Gala and other member and programmatic events. Other duties may be assigned by the Director of Development that are closely related to development strategy and goals and may involve collaboration with all members of the Discovery World Board of Directors, leadership team and/or other departments. Qualifications

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

The requirements listed below are representative of the qualifications necessary to perform the job.

Education and Experience

Demonstrate a commitment to and passion for Discovery World's educational mission. Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution required. Experience and proficiency with CRM databases. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in development or related field preferably in the nonprofit sector. Must have exceptional writing, analytical, and research skills. Ability to seek and synthesize information and communicate in a succinct form. Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail oriented. Ability to work well under pressure and deadlines. Experience managing multiple high-stake initiatives using effective project management skills. Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a commitment to a high level of customer service. Must have ability and willingness to work in a team-oriented environment, demonstrating a flexible approach. Other Knowledge, Skills, or Abilities

Experience and proficiency with Blackbaud products, Altru a plus. Experience working with nonprofit boards a plus.
