Systems Engineer

within our esteemed Space Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (SISR) business unit. Your expertise in requirements analysis, architecture design, system engineering evaluation, script development, and interface management will be invaluable to our team. Key Responsibilities: Analyze and define system operations through use cases. Break down complex requirements, define system interfaces, and collaborate with the test team to establish validation and verification methods. Provide engineering support for a portion of the program's test processes, including baseline definition and test architecture design. Assist in regression testing across various program releases. Participate in technical reviews and interchanges to support program success. Required Qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Systems, Mechanical, Aerospace, or Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Experience in systems engineering lifecycle, roles, and functions, particularly in areas such as Concept of Operations (ConOps) development, requirements definition, and functional analysis. Prior development experience on a government contract related to systems engineering. Familiarity with Agile principles, including Agile systems engineering practices. Preferred Qualifications: Development experience in mission management ground systems or space-based ISR platforms. Experience working in Agile development environments and using Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket). Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler). Experience with requirements management tools such as DOORS. Strong oral and written communication skills, along with effective collaboration abilities within a team setting. This role requires working mainly at our Aurora, CO (Denver area) campus. The salary range for this position is between 66,000 USD and 130,000 USD, reflective of varying experience levels. RTX considers various factors like role responsibilities, experience, and skill set when determining offers.
