Overview
CTG is seeking to fill a Mechanical Planner position for our client in Baytown, TX.
Duration:
6 months Pay Rate:
Up to $55.00/hour
Duties:
Plan and coordinate mechanical, piping, and turnaround (TA) work.
Develop detailed job packages and verify plans in the field.
Interpret P&IDs, isometrics, and drawings to define work scope and sequence.
Estimate scaffolding and insulation needs.
Support TA scheduling and collaborate with contractors for job clarification.
Serve as a mechanical construction coordinator as needed.
Skills:
Expertise in mechanical systems, piping design, fabrication, and installation.
Strong planning, estimating, and scheduling skills.
Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and planning tools.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.
High mechanical and electrical aptitude with strong attention to detail.
Experience:
12+ years industrial manufacturing experience with TA work (HS diploma)
or
7+ years with TA work (associate degree).
6+ years job planning experience for fixed/stationary equipment and piping.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree .
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
