Join our Food Bank Distribution Volunteer Team!

Help ensure food security for your neighbors by volunteering with North Helpline Emergency Services and Food Bank in Lake City! On distribution days volunteers directly assist neighbors, distribute food, restock, and help those done shopping out to their transportation. You can expect to serve with 10 to 12 other volunteers per shift. We keep volunteer crews small to help with social distancing but that means we count on everyone to show up for their shift and be on time. We open our food bank and welcome our folks for Food distribution on the following schedules: Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Thursday afternoons from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm Saturday mornings from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Interested in working with us?
