Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing various types of equipment including fabrication equipment, air compressors, welding equipment, hand and power tools, washers, ovens, and paint systems. Your role will include completing preventative maintenance on all equipment and performing general building maintenance such as repairs to lighting systems. A solid understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems is essential, as is the ability to follow and troubleshoot electrical schematics and familiarity with PLCs. This will pay $34-38/hr depending on experience.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair fabrication equipment, air compressors, welding equipment, and other tools.

Complete preventative maintenance on all equipment.

Perform hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic system repairs.

Manage part and piece inventory control and ordering when necessary.

Conduct general building maintenance, including lighting system repairs.

Follow and troubleshoot electrical schematics and blueprints.

Essential Skills

5 years of experience as a Maintenance Technician.

Proficiency in troubleshooting and repair of machinery.

Preventative maintenance expertise.

PLC troubleshooting and electrical schematic reading.

Experience with 3-phase electrical systems.

Knowledge of pneumatics, motors, industrial maintenance, and hydraulics.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Facilities maintenance repairs.

Blueprint reading.

MIG Welding Repairs.

Work Environment

Work in a clean and well-lit facility. While it is not temperature controlled, the environment remains comfortable. This position is for the 3rd shift, operating from 10pm to 6am, Sunday through Thursday, with mandatory overtime required.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Crystal Lake, Illinois.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $70720.00/yr.
