We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced
Senior Electrical Engineer
to be responsible for leading or contributing to detailed hardware and software design of process automation control systems projects. This includes defining architecture requirements, developing detailed hardware and software design specifications, programming PLC, drive systems, and HMI/SCADA applications, tuning control loops, providing control system startup and commissioning services, troubleshooting existing control systems, and providing control system qualifications. This a fantastic opportunity to lead/work on projects from concept through commissioning phases.
Must be local to Portage, IN.
You Will:
Provide application/control systems design and development for systems of varying complexity
Develop and evaluate alternative system solutions that meet stated requirements
Modifies program/system logic involving multiple systems and subsystems
Develop proficiency in several programming and control device networks for PLCs, PCs
Interact with customers to gain an understanding of the business environment. Defines scope, plans, and deliverables for assigned work
Work successfully in a team environment; focused strongly on customer service and continuous improvement
Serve as an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.

Travel: Up to 25%
You Have:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related Engineering fields.
7+ Years Experience with a Systems Integrator performing Automation work.
Project Technical Lead Experience, Leading a Team of Engineers
Proficient in Industrial Power Systems
Proficient in the design and programming of HMI/Scada Systems, PLCs/PACs, AC Drives and Servos
Proficiency in troubleshooting control systems and an understanding of process controls
Rockwell experience with products such as: ControlLogix, CompactLogix, PlantPAx, Factory Talk Software Suite, Studio 5000, PLC5, SLC500, RSView, PanelView Plus, etc.
Other PLC platform experience (e.g. Emerson PAC Systems, Siemens S7, Modicon)
Other SCADA and HMI package experience (e.g. Ignition, Proficy iFix, and Aveva Intouch)
Other AC Drives and Servo Motion (e.g. AB Powerflex, Siemens S120, Control Techniques)
Experience implementing detailed control system electrical design packages. (Electrical Schematics, Cable Schedules, Specification Documents)
Working knowledge of industrial control system networks (e.g. Profinet, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus etc.)
Instrumentation experience (e.g. Pressure Transmitters, Flow Meters, Load Cells)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
