Sr. Java developer

for a

Contract

with a client in

Chicago, IL(Hybrid).

You will lead the development of scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure, while guiding a team in an onshore-offshore model.

Rate Range:

$53/hour to $56/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Sr. Java Developer job responsibilities include:

Design and develop scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, and Azure cloud technologies. Lead solution development and Java version upgrades, ensuring alignment with architectural standards and business requirements. Support migration efforts from PCF to Azure, optimizing application performance and reliability. Conduct code reviews and provide technical leadership to onshore-offshore development teams. Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve production issues, implement enhancements, and maintain application availability. Ensure adherence to ITIL processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the application lifecycle. Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 6-8 years of experience in Java development, including Spring Boot and microservices architecture. Proven experience in migrating Java applications from PCF to Azure and building cloud-native solutions. Pay Details:

$53.00 to $56.00 per hour
