Payroll Specialist -Post Processing?

(ON SITE - BURLINGTON NC)

This Payroll Specialist position is an exciting opportunity for candidate with a growth mind-set who thrives in a fast-paced, Global organization.

The scope of this role includes end-to-end Payroll processes with an emphasis in our Post Processing area. This area consists of garnishments, stop payments, direct deposit reversals, and the associated system related recording, along with reissuances of payments through on-demand, W-2/W-2C request fulfillment, reporting, and providing excellent customer service to our team members.

Responsibilities:

Workday end to end processing including garnishments, stop payments, reissuance of payments

Upload garnishment data onto the ADP SmartCompliance Portal

Collaborate with ADP on garnishment related inquiries and updates

Act as point of contact for employee inquiries from our case management tool, Provide excellent customer service to our team members

Complete Broadspire reports, Subpoenas, VOE's and Legal requests as required

Utilize SmartCompliance for direct deposit rejects and action reissuances, when required

Place stop payments and reversals of direct deposit as required

- Act as point of contact for escheatment in conjunction with the Finance and Treasury teams

Create, print, validate and ship on-demand checks

Perform peer reviews for on-demand checks

Perform system entries for stop payments, voids, pay backs and other maintenance related items in Workday

Distribute reissues of W-2 or W-2c's upon request

Act as a point of contact to provide reports and approved data to other departments as required

Maintain logs/records as required

Receive and distribute mail daily to Payroll teams

Qualifications:

Minimum three years relevant work experience with Associates degree required OR five years relevant work experience with no degree required

Systems experience, preferably Workday & ADP SmartCompliance strongly preferred.

Good time management and prioritization skills strongly preferred.

Good verbal and written communication skills strongly preferred.

Payroll or Accounting Qualification preferred.

Good organizational skills preferred.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Shift: Mon - Fri, 8am - 5pm EST
