Overview
Logistics Coordinator Job Type: Full-time; Hybrid. Responsibilities Support the day-to-day logistics activities. Daily management, coordination of international & domestic shipments with shippers/warehouse, and carriers. Establish and coordinate schedule with carrier and monitor/or tender shipments. Source carriers and negotiate rates. Track and trace all shipments and load status. Proactively identify problems and swiftly implement the appropriate solution. Confirm rates with carriers. Responsible for cost containment of shipment. Evaluate shipments, consolidate loads, and select the most cost-effective method of delivery. Lane analysis is required in order to select the most appropriate mode. Perform other duties as requested or assigned. Manage shipper and carrier relationships.
Experience & Qualifications
Associate or bachelors degree 4+ years of experience in freight auditing, logistics accounting, or transportation invoice processing Experience with FTL, LTL, NVOCC, air freight, small package, warehousing, import/export consolidations, world distributions, and project cargo/heavy haul Proficiency with Transportation Management Systems (TMS), ERP software, and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a challenging environment. Goal-oriented & an organized team player
